While New England boasts some of the greatest athletes in all of sport, the Shields family also believes that New England is home to the greatest fans in the world. In our new campaign, the camera was turned upon those fans.

Why? Because many fans have suffered from overuse injuries from the enthusiastic and repetitive celebration of numerous world championships. How many? How about twelve duck boat parades since the year 2002?

While the injuries featured in the two spots are different, they are part of a condition that is unique to New England. We call it Numberoneitis. There are many symptoms of Numberoneitis that are as varied as the folks who are diagnosed. But they all have one cause: the countless championship celebrations we New Englanders have enjoyed over the past 17 years.
