Logo Design

Description

I’ve always been fascinated by logo design. My favorite logos are the simplest. A great example is William Golden’s design for the CBS logo — it looks as current today as it did when it was launched 70 years ago.

Fun fact: The CBS eye was drawn by designer, Kurt Weihs, who I worked alongside for a short time when I was a junior art director at Creamer Lois in Providence and Kurt was a senior creative working with advertising legend, George Lois in Creamer’s Manhattan office.

I enjoy distilling an idea down to its simplest, most iconic state. Every logo starts with a concept. The process of bringing that concept to life is more about clarity and less about window dressing.
