Beyond our Wildest Dream —YMCA
Description
The downside is this film is 10-minutes long. The upside is it may be the world’s shortest civics class: the story of a group of volunteers in Marblehead and Swampscott, Massachusetts who made something come true that was beyond their wildest imagination: funding and constructing the largest YMCA in New England.
Along with their professional expertise, volunteers with tenacity and perseverance are the ones who punch the ball into the end zone from the one-yard line. Or in this case, the 90,000-square-foot line.
